Title: Automation Engineer

Reports To: Manager, Engineering
Position Summary
The Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality for all of OneCause's software solutions. The Automation Engineer is also responsible for contributing ideas and quality concerns in a highly cooperative agile development team. They will report directly to the Engineering Manager. Candidates will be based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Essential Job Functions
• Ensure all quality goals for the current product release are met or exceeded
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of OneCause's software product suite, as well the OneCause fundraising lifecycle
• Create and execute product test plans and/or test scripts for integration, smoke, and end-to-end tests
• Integrate automated tests into the existing continuous deployment (CD) pipeline
• Participate in planning user stories during development iterations
• Participate with the QA Analyst group in setting the long-term direction of the software quality throughout the enterprise
• Utilize the agile methodology and participate in all phases of its process
• Attend customer events as necessary to gain domain experience
Other Requirements
• B.S. in Computer Science, Informatics, MIS, or related field
• Ability to write and maintain automated integration tests
• Interest (or experience) in integrations with popular platforms including Java Script, Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, and Sauce Labs
• Strong collaborative skills
• Willingness to help others achieve their goals through solid written and oral skills
• Self-motivated work mentality
• Demonstrates success in a small team environment

• Experience writing automated tests in a CD environment
